Perfectly CAS Challenge #6 - Shapes - Gemstones

Hi Friends,
Today I am playing at Perfectly CAS (using one third or less) Challenge and the keyword is Shapes.  I used Stampin' Up's You're Priceless stamp set using the different gemstone shapes which were embossed with gold embossing powder and coloured with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water.

Thanks to the Design Team I was awarded a Top 3 Award for this card.

CAS(E) this Sketch #359 - Slender Mushrooms

Hi there,
Today I am playing at CAS(E) this Sketch #359.  I used Naturals White card from Stampin' Up! for a more natural look.  I coloured the stamp with my Distress Markers and then spritzed lightly before stamping with my Misti.  I cut the main card with the image on one side slightly and fussy cut around one of the Mushrooms.  I then made a mat and coloured it with the Shabby Shutters Distress Marker and also coloured the scalloped piece with Vintage Photo.  I sponged around the main image with Antique Linen.  All of the design elements are mounted on Foam Tape and I finished off with some Clear Epoxy Shapes.

The Card Concept #128 - Love

Happy Valentine's Day Friends,
Playing along with The Card Concept #128 which is an inspiration picture that is perfect for Valentine's Day or sending someone a little love.  My inspiration came from the red and white striped container on the mantle, the hearts, cushions and I used the word Love for my Mixed Media card. I sponged the White Gesso on red card using the striped stencil, love the soft look I achieved and then used embossing paste on the white heart for some texture.  I then die cut the word love and punched out the hearts randomly placing them on the background and heart.  I finished off the inside with the word You and added a few more hearts.

Case this Sketch #358 - Enjoy the Ride

Hi there,
Today I am playing with the Challenge at Case This Sketch.  I die cut the Eifel Tower and then stamped the Scooter and Clouds on my card base. I stamped the Scooter a second time and Water coloured it with an Aqua Painter, Fussy Cut and mounted it on Dimensionals over the original image placing the Tower underneath but on top of the clouds.  I finished off with the Sentiment, Sequins and the Inside of the card.

Freshly Made Sketches #421 - Enjoy Your Day

Hi Friends,
Today I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #421.  I dry embossed the white mat, stamped the Daffodils and coloured them with Markers.  I cut a mat from Pear Pizzazz to add some definition and make the flowers pop.  The Sentiment was stamped on White card and then I water coloured with an Aqua Painter finishing off with a Clear Wink of Stella Brush to add some glitter and mounted it on Dimensionals.

Colour Throwdown #ctd578 and Freshly Made Sketchers #420 - Framed Poppies

Today I am playing along with the Colour Throwdown #ctd578.  We are to use Red, Grey and White for our project. I stamped the Poppies and coloured them with a Real Red Marker.  The Circle Die was cut and then the centre was die cut to provide a Frame for the Poppies.  I finished off with the Sentiment embossed in White.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - February 2020 - Stencil from Die Cuts - Sending Love

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for the February CAS Mix Up challenge.  Joanna is our Hostess this month and she is challenging us to make a Stencil from our Die Cuts + Stamping + Your Choice.

I made a Quick and Easy one layer card using the Die Cuts I used for the Stencilling to decorate the inside of the card. I stuck the Die Cut down with the Glue from an old 2 Way Glue Pen.  You let the glue dry on the die cut and then it is repositionable.  I used my Picket Fence Brushes for the sponging to get a nice soft touch.  Finished off with the Sentiment and a Crystal.  Thanks Loll for the die!
