Dynamic Duos #15 - Pin Wheels

Today's post is for the Dynamic Duos Colour Challenge #15.  I used "Sweets For The Sweet" stamp set which hadn't been inked before and I wanted to do something different instead of flowers with the gorgeous colours this week. All the elements of my card are basic stamping, embossing or cutting, with the exception of the sentiments which I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig  for placement and alignment.

CAS-ual Fridays #64 - Flying High

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge this week to feature what we see in the sky or "On Cloud 9". I cut some clouds out with masking medium using my Papertrey Ink dies and masked my white card and then sponged the Bashful Blue ink onto the background.  I stamped the jet twice, once on the background and the other onto some white card.  Cut out and coloured in parts of my second jet image, mounted it on Dimensionals and added the Sentiment and it was done.

Dynamic Duos #14 - Dynamic Dragonfly

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is for the Dynamic Duos challenge this week to use Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi plus Neutrals. I made my flower with Sizzix Dies and Sizzlits mounting each layer on dimensionals to add height.  I cut the leaves with the stripes so they had more definition, sponged the edges of the flower petals and leaves.  Stamped the dragon fly and cut it out. Embossed the mat and finished off with some pearls.

CASology #4 - Congratulation's

Today's post is for the CASology Challenge this week and the Cue Word is Bird.  Really quick card although I was tempted to add something else to it.  I stamped the image, coloured it with markers added some eyes on the birds with the Gelly Roll Pen, pieced a line under the sentiment and matted the main image on some Lucky Limeaide which was then mounted on Dimensionals and it was done.

This card was awarded an Honourable Mention at CASology this week.

Merry Monday Sketch For July - Snow Swirled

Hi there,
Today's post is for the Merry Monday Sketch Challenges for July. This week I have used Sketch #2 of the previous sketches for my card. I Silver Embossed the tree and sentiment on Basic Black,  used Whisper White for the mats and Metallic Silver for the Modern Garland Border strip. Stamped some Snowflakes in Basic Grey to finish off inside and added some Pearls to the tree as my Finishing Touch.

Dynamic Duos #13 - Pop Up Birthday Presents

Greetings,
Today's post is for the Dynamic Duos challenge this week to use Early Espresso and Crumb Cake plus Neutrals. I tried a couple of new things for my card today, Double Embossing with the Big Shot and a Pop Up on the inside of my card. I followed a tutorial by Lisa Young for the pop up. I paper pieced the presents on the front of the card and added the little flowers and pearls. The ribbon is actually Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots, but it is more the colour of Early Espresso than Chocolate Chip. I love how the pop up turned out, it is easier than it looks to make.

CASology #2 - Smiley Cat

Today's post is for the CASology Challenge this week and the inspirational word is Happy. I love this little cat image, you couldn't help but smile it just beams happiness. I stamped the Cat twice and mounted the second Cat's head on Dimensionals.  I used an old Kaleidacolour Spectrum Pad with the split sections and different colours for the Happy.
