Jessica's Birthday 2019

Hi Friends,
Our Grand daughter Jessica turned Ten recently and this is the card I made for her as the big present was an Ipod from her Parents.  I heat embossed most of the design elements with Silver and Leaf Green E/Powder, added a few Die Cuts and finished off with the Twinkle Sequins.  For the Inside of the card I punched a slit with the Word Window Punch for the Money.

Jenny Chilton's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #24 - Magic Card

At the end of March I attended a Papercraft camp with Jenny Chilton at Avalon in Toodyay.  The Magic Card is usually created with the first panel not coloured and then when you pull out the panel and a coloured image appears.  This is the last card of the Series, I hope you have enjoyed the projects Jenny created we all enjoyed our weekend.

Project #23 is this awesome card for a Male's Birthday.  I love the rusty look of the Cogs and how the card is held together, the front and back panels are serparate but connected by the centre panel on the inside.

Jenny Chilton's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #22 - You've Been on My Mind

Project #22 is a Ombre card stamped and White embossed and then sponged with different shades of blue.  A piece has been cut out from the main panel and the rest was mounted with Fun Foam.  The Sentiment was stamped before the main pieces where attached.

CAS Mix Up May 2019 - Baby Wipes - Tie Dyed

Hi there,
Bonnie is challenging us to use Baby Wipes for this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge.  I tried a couple of different idea's for the Tie Dyed look and ended up using Tissue Paper as I didn't have any Coffee Filters as shown here on Lisa Freeman's Video.  I used a Baby Wipe to apply the ink from the Stamp Pads.  I did try Jay Lee's idea but my Baby Wipe absorbed  ink all over and the finished look was too dark for my T/Shirt image.

At the end of March I attended a Papercraft camp with Jenny Chilton  at Avalon in Toodyay.  This is Project #12.  The Background is Watercoloured and when dry is was stamped with Versamark and Clear Embossed, unfortunately my photo hasn't captured it very well.  We finished off by making the Bird House, stamping the Bird and Vertical Greeting.  Hope you like it!

Jenny Chilton's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #11 - Faux Leather Notebook

Project #11 is this lovely covered Notebook.  You mix 1 part Glycerine to 3 partsWater and shake until mixed well. Then saturate the Crumb Cake Piece on both sides, then Scrunch it up and gently smooth it out.  Let it dry over night and then emboss with an embossing folder.  Worked a treat lovely definition with the E/Folder!

Jenny Chilton's Avalon Camp 2019 - Project #10 - Watercoloured Leaves

For Project #10 we stamped the leaf images and then spritzed the card with water.  I must have over spritzed as my colour faded a little too much so I dried it with a heat gun and re stamped the leaves so there was some definition.  We finished the card by white embossing the sentiment on Basic Black and adding the White Bakers Twine.
