The Paper Players Colour Challenge #55 - Snowflakes

Hey there,
Today's post is for The Paper Players challenge this fortnight.  I stamped the fun image, coloured it, added some Dazzling Diamonds and Smooched the Baja Breeze Snowflake.  The card base is embossed with the Provo Craft Snowflake Embossing Folder and the main image is raised on Dimensionals.

This card was awarded the Cut Above Award at The Paper Players.

Just Add Ink Colour Challenge #75 - Black Crystals, Lace and Cherry Vintage

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for the Just Add Ink Colour Challenge this week. I stamped off the En Francias BG stamp before stamping on the card.  I added some black satin ribbon behind the lace strip so it would stand out more. For the flower I ran two of the layers through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice EB Folder, added some lace layers and as the final touch some Black Crystals for the centre.

This card was awarded Top Pick at Just Add Ink.

Sending A Hug - Just Add Ink #74 - Fancy Fold Card

Today's card is for a dear friend who is unfortunately having chemo.  I am linking up with the Just Add Ink challenge this week to add a Fancy Fold Card after seeing it on Bronwyn's blog and following Laura Lipe's tutorial.  I Paper Pieced the Dressing Gown and Slippers, Watercoloured the skin areas, created the Sentiment on my Computer and punched the edge of the Designer Paper, otherwise the card is Clean and Simple.

The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge #88 - Just Add Ink Challenge #74 - Fancy Folds - Birthday Time

Hello Everyone,
Today's post is for this weeks Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge and Just Add Inks' Fancy Fold Challenge. The Challenge picture reminded me of a clock so I made an Easel card and decorated the clock face.  I gold embossed the flower branches on the base card and stamped them in black on the face of the clock. To finish it off I added some shiny gold pearls in different sizes. The colours are not ones I would normally use together and I don't think I have used Tangerine Tango to often, but I think it came together okay, what do you think?

Pals Paper Arts #100 - Technique Challenge - Just Add Ink #74 - Fancy Folds Challenge - Paper Daises

Today's card is for the Pals Paper Arts Challenge and the Just Add Ink Challenge this week.  PPA Challenge was to use a Technique and the JAI Challenge was to use a Fancy Fold.  I used four techniques, Bleaching, Sponging, Embossing and inking up with Markers direct to the stamp.  The Fancy Fold is a Joy Fold Card that Chantell Randell used.  I hope to try all the Fancy Folds for my challenges this week as there are a couple that I have not made before.

The Paper Players Sketch Challenge #53 - Cafe Celebration

Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #75 - Pleated Flower

Today's post is for the Inkspirations Sketch Challenge this week.  I decided to try to make a flower with a pleated centre.  I have noticed this technique on a few different blogs, but it was mainly used as a background instead of the focal point. I embossed the frame of the flower and the leaves for some texture.  I think I achieved what I was aiming for, let me know if you like it!!
