The Paper Players #72 - Fly Like A Bird

Hi Friends,
Today's post is for The Paper Players Colour Challenge this week hosted by LeAnne. The colours would make a lovely Christmas card but I decided to try something different and I wanted to use a Beveled Window Pane on a project.   I stamped the background using Versamark and clear embossing powder. The edges are sponged and I stitched around the card with my sewing machine.  The strips of Designer Paper for the bottom edge were punched with the Scallop Border Punch. I stamped the perched birds from Clearly for You with Riding Hood Red and used the flourish as a backdrop in River Rock. The Window Pane is held in place with Mini Glue Dots and ribbon.  I stamped Happy Birthday and attached it with the Always Artichoke brads.

Pals Paper Arts #118 - Shades of Latte

Happy Monday Everyone,
Today's post is for the Pals Paper Arts Colour Challenge this week.  I saw this card by Bronwyn Eastley and liked the way she had used the strips of Designer Paper, rounded the corners and the flower, so using those ideas here is my card.  Similar but quite different. Thanks' for the inspiration Bronwyn.  I have embossed the Very Vanilla layer and snipped the petals of the bottom two layers into the middle so the petals are more flexible.  I used my bone folder and fingers to shape the petals of the flower and used a dimensional between each layer.  I added the Scribble Swirls and the Champagne Stampin Glitter for the finishing touches.

Supplies:
Stamps:  S/U's Creative Elements
Card and Papers:  Soft Suede, River Rock, Very Vanilla, DSP Paper Pack - Neutrals

Freshly Made Sketches #8 - Joy to the World

Hi there,
Today's post is for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.  I embossed the Image with White Embossing Powder and coloured it with Perfect Pearls and my Aqua Painter.  I set the Perfect Pearls with a light spray of Hairspray.  Love the effect of the Perfect Pearls on the Night of Navy card, the colour is so intense and shiny.  I matted the main image with Whisper White to make it stand out from the rest of the card and mounted it on Dimensionals. I dry embossed the Night of Navy background and then coloured the dots with my Signo Gel Pen to carry the star theme through a bit more.

This card was awarded a Perfect Princess Award this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

Supplies:
Stamps:  S/U's City of David
Card and Papers:  Night of Navy, Whisper White, DSP Unknown Gift from a Friend
Ink:  Versamark, Stazon Black, Signo White Gel Pen
Embellishments: Perfect Pearls Powder, Star Brad
