Just Add Ink #23 - Baby's Quilt - Joan's Garden Challenge #3

Hello Stampers,
Todays post is for the Just Add Ink Challenge this week Just Add Patterned Paper.  For my design I decided on a larger card so the DSP Squares had more impact. To add a delicate touch I punched the edges of the mat card with a Martha Stewart corner and edger punch to make it look like lace and added some faux stitching to the hearts.
Supplies:
Stamps: None
Card and Papers: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Regal Rose, Patterns Pack II DSP 2009-10 Catalogue Hostess Reward, Sweet Always DSP
Ink: Regal Rose Marker
Embellishments: Regal Rose Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Plain and Scalloped Heart Nestabilities, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Square Punches, Computer and Printer, Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace Corner and Edger Punches, Dimensionals

Edited to Add: Also submitted to Joan's Garden Challenge #3 to use Floral DSP and a Corner and Edger Punch from Martha Stewart.
Thanks for poppin in today.

Monthly Calendar Challenge - June 2010

Hi there,
Todays post is for my Monthly Calendar Challenge for June.  I have been tied up with a few other projects this month, so I am sorry for the delay in posting.  I would love for you to play along.
This months challenge is Winter.  Anything to do with the Winter season, wether it is Hot Chocolate, Hot Soup, Bad Weather or being dressed for the Winter elements, it's all about Winter. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
I have made a Winter scene.  I used my brayer to colour the gloss card and then stamped the Lovely as a Tree image.  I touched up the sky a bit more with ink and a sponge dauber and then clear embossed some rain drops on the scene.  I  cut out an acetate Top Note Shape which I stamped the word Winter on  with Black Stazon. I attached it with Crystal Effects which unfortunately is too visable for my liking.
Supplies:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Season by Season (R), Rainy Days (R)
Card and Paper: Basic Grey, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Glossy White, Patterns Paper II (R), Clear Acetate
Ink: Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Bashful Blue, Going Grey, Basic Grey, Stazon Black, Versamark
Embellishments: Old Olive and Brocade Blue Grossgrain Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Clear EB Powder, Heat Tool, Brayer, Computer and Printer, Dimensionals, Crystal Effects
Don't forget to link you design to my blog.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Just Add Ink #20 - Just Add Stitching

Hello Stamping Friends,
Todays post is for the Just Add Ink challenge this week.  I used ribbon to do my stitching.  I have been so busy organising some design work that I nearly missed doing this challenge, but I am glad I did it was fun.  I tried an idea that Jenny Gropp, (One Krafty Kat) does a lot of on her cards and I think it worked a treat.  I have a Martha Stewart Screw hole Punch that works like a screw driver and it made the job of making the holes and placing them in the right place really easy to do.  I coloured the image with Copics and used my Bow Easy to make the bow.

Stamps: Stampendous F152 Grasshopper Fluffles, SU Best Yet
Card and Papers: Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Memento Black, Copic Markers

ESAD - SU Unconvention - Surprise Challenge - Louise Ryan

Hi Friends,
Todays post is another ESAD - Unconvention challenge.  Louise's challenge was for us to dust off some of the current old stamps that we hadn't used in a while and give them a new look.  So two of my oldest SU, but still current sets that I use are Lovely as a Tree and Weathered. Both might be retired  though from the new Catalogue coming out in September 2010.  I cut out the shape with the Big Shot using the Top Note Die using Glossy Card.  Then I stamped the Lovely as a Tree stamp in Stazon Black.  I used my sponge daubers to colour the image.  For the clouds I punched a Scallop Circle and used it as a template. Drew the birds freehand. This one was a Winner!!
Supplies:
Stamps:  Lovely as a Tree, Weathered, On Your Birthday
Card and Paper: Old Olive, Ballet Blue, Glossy Card, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink: Stazon Black, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Bashful Blue, Bordering Blue
Embellishments: Old Olive Ribbon
Tools: Cutter Tool, Big Shot, Top Note Die, 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Sponge Daubers, Sponge, Dimensionals, Fine Black Marker Pen
Thanks for stopping by today.
