Birthday Present Gift Card Holder

Hi there,
Today's post was made for my DH's birthday's this week. I cased the idea from Vicki at http://itsastampthing-vicki.blogspot.com/2010/11/gift-card-holder.html.  I placed the punched bow on the outside and secured it with the brad, placed my sentiment at the bottom and to seal the top down I used the 2 way glue pen. If you let the glue dry and then seal it is re-sealable and does not stick permanetly.

Supplies:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card and Papers: Soft Suede, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, DS Paper Pattern Pack-Subtles, Elegant Soiree DSP
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Embellishments: Brad
Tools: Fiskers Cutter and Embossing Tool, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Small and Large Oval Punches
Thanks for stopping by today.

Today I am show casing some of the new items available in the Summer Mini that runs from 1st December 2010 to 31st March, 2011 with the other Demonstrators from ESAD - SU (Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators including New Zealand Demonstrators for Stampin' Up!).  If you are an Australian or New Zealand Demonstrator and would like to join this online group go to the website here.  We love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. You might have arrived from the very talented Steph Gray's blog, or just joined the hop here, there are Thirteen Demonstrators on the Blog Hop so enjoy the ride.
My first projects are themed on Love, Anniversary, Wedding and Valentine.  I have used the Love Defined and Itty Bitty Bits stamp and punch sets for my cards.  Also the new Textured Expressions Plate "Square Lattice" and the Pinking Hearts Border Punch.

Supplies:
Stamps: Love Defined, Itty Bitty Bits, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card: Real Red, Whisper White, Metallic Silver,
Ink: Real Red
Embellishments: White and Real Red Grossgrain, Crystals, White Striped Organdy Ribbon, Ric Rac
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice EB Folder, Vintage Wallpaper EB Folder, Polka Dot EB Folder, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punches, Heart Nestabilities, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch,  Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Small Heart Punch, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool,
I am also featuring the "Tooth Fairy" stamp in a collection for a little girl.
I used a retired Stampin' Up! Door Hanger, but it would be easy to create your own. The Fairy is made using mostly Stampin' Up! punches. I found the sentiments on the internet and changed the verse on my computer to suit my projects.
Door Hanger Verse:
Dear Tooth Fairy
My tooth fell out,
It's no longer there.
You will find it under
my pillow tonight.
I give it to you
To handle with care.
The container to put the lost tooth into is a recycled Stampin' Up! button container that I have decorated inside and out. I cut the flowers using the Scallop Circle punch. I had to have a few goes to make it work as my punch only cut properly on one side. I then cut around the shape so I could twist the felt into a flower. I stitched these together with a needle and thread. I did try using a die and the Big Shot for the top of the lid and it worked much better.

The Verse reads; In this container you will find a teeny, tiny tooth of mine so while I sleep where dreams are made, let's see if you can make a trade.
The "Tooth Fairy" stamp became a broach. I used the door handle piece that was removed from the door hanger as my base.
Supplies:
Stamps: Tooth Fairy
Card and Papers: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Designer Series Paper Patterns Stack Subtles, Vellum, Metallic Gold
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Stazon Black, Craft White, Blusing Bride, Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Black Marker
Embellishments: Felt, Pretty In Pink Satin Ribbon, Pink Pirouette 1 1/4" Wide Ribbon,
Tools: Computer and Printer, 1" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punches, 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch,
Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have enjoyed my projects.  Now your off to visit the gorgeous creations of Amy Buchanan.
Happy Stamping.

Just Add Ink #44 - Santa's Christmas Stocking

Hi there,
Today's post is for the Just Add Ink Colour challenge this week.  I missed last week's deadline for the Just Add Christmas so I have combined the two challenges in this week's colour challenge.  Last week I made a card but I wasn't really happy with some of the elements, so if I am able to resurrect it I will add it as a post later.  I need some Gift Card holders for Christmas so I found a fun template I down loaded from Claire Brennan last year at http://waltzingmouse.blogspot.com/ called Bitty Stocking Gift Card Holder. I made two stockings, only to realise in daylight that one of the retired Designer Papers is Old Olive and not Wild Wasabi, don't you just hate that!! Anyway I have included it as an alternative way to decorate the stocking.

Supplies:
Stamps: Contempo Christmas
Card and Papers: Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, Apple Cider DSP (R)
Ink: Wild Wasabi
Embellishments: Crystal Effects, Chocolate Chip Grossgrain Ribbon, Stitching, Eyelet
Tools: Big Shot, Provo Craft Argyle EB Folder, S/U Small Oval Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch (R), Scallop Trim Border Punch, Embossing Tool, Sponge, Sewing Machine, Thread, Dimensionals, Scissors, Crop-a-dile, Stamp-a-ma-jig

Supplies:
Stamps: Vintage Labels (R)
Card and Papers: River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Brocade Background DSP (R)
Ink:  Chocolate Chip
Embellishments: Taylored Expressions Mini Crystals, Chocolate Chip Stitched Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Provo Craft Houndstooth EB Folder, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Scissors, Mini Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Boho Blossom Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Jones Gloop Glue, Medium Jewelry Tag Punch
