Freshly Made Sketches #445 - Congratulations

Today's card is for the current Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #445.

I stamped the doily using my Misti then I stamped the Flowers and Vase colouring the flowers with my Aqua Painter.  I Fussy cut the Vase and Flowers mounting the Vase with dimensionals.  I white heat embossed the Sentiment and punched the Scalloped Silver Foil piece.  I mounted the sentiment and added the Mauve Pearls to the Silver Foil.  I finished off the inside of my card with a Vase of Flowers and a Sentiment.

CAS Mix Up Challenge Reminder - July 2020, Stencil Tracing - Bubbles

Hi there,
This is the reminder post for the CAS Mix Up July challenge, you have until the 24th of July to join us with your card.
For this card I used Yuppo card and Alcohol Inks for the background.  The Stencil was traced using a Silver Gel Pen and then I embossed it with Silver embossing Powder. Once these steps were completed I die cut it with a rectangle stitched die.  I used the same piece of Yuppo to stamp the fish and the sentiment.  The frame was die cut with Silver Foil.  For the inside of my card I die cut another rectangle from the scraps I had from the front background.

Freshly Made Sketches #443 - A Real Treat

Hi there,
Today's card is for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #443. I matted the Designer Paper on Basic Black and then used Real Red as my card base. I cut the Whisper White Triangles and then dry embossed them. The images were stamped and coloured with Blends , die cut and fussy cut and then I split the sentiment stamp, stamping half on the outside of my card and the other half on the inside.

The Paper Players #PP498 - Fun and Fancy Folds - Under the Sea

Hello Friends,
This is my card for the Paper Players Challenge #PP498 which is to make a Fun and Fancy Fold Card.  My Fun Fold Card is a Centre Panel Card.
I started with a Pretty Peacock base and added the Designer Papers from Whale of a Time.  The Whale and Turtle where stamped, punched and fussy cut then mounted with Dimensionals.  I finished off with the Sentiment, Clear Sequins for bubbles and some stamping and sponging on the inside.

CAS Mix Up Challenge July 2020 - Stencil Tracing - Shades of Green

This is another version of the card I made for this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge - Stencil Tracing.  I used three shades of green Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Green Apple and Mossy Meadow on the same Leaf Stencil from Simon Says Stamp.  I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink, mounted it on foam and added the sequins to finish.

Sunday Stamps SSC234 - Little Ladybug

Hello Friends,
Today's card is for the Sunday Stamps Challenge #SSC234.  I stamped the images on White card and coloured them direct and with an Aqua Painter and they were then die cut. The flower was paper pieced with Designer Paper and the leaves water coloured and die cut.  I embossed the white mat with the Spring Flowers E/Folder, and I Heat embossed the sentiment with White E/Powder on Real Red card.  I stamped and coloured another Ladybug for the Inside of my card.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - July 2020 - Stencil Tracing - Autumn Leaves

It's the 1st of July and time for a new challenge at CAS Mix Up. This month we are working with Stencils, Tracing them on our design and Nancy is our Hostess.  We have three Guest Designer's this month all previous Winners for the challenges at CAS Mix Up, Water colour and Stencils. Greta, Sandie and Kia welcome to the design team for July.
I blended with Distress Inks over the Stencil giving an Autumn theme to my card and then used a Soft Suede Marker to outline the leaves.  I finished off with a Gold embossed sentiment on Soft Suede

CAS Mix Up Challenge Reminder - June 2020 - Embossed Vellum - Beautiful Day

Hi there,
Today's card is a reminder that you have until the 24th of June to play along with the Design Team at CAS Mix Up.  For my card I heat embossed the images with White E/Powder and then coloured them with Copic Markers on the reverse of the Vellum.  I Fussy Cut the images and mounted them on the Perfect Plum Mat that I ran through the Big Shot with a Stitched Die.  I layered the flower and stamped the Sentiment mounting them with Dimensionals and Foam Tape. I finished the card off with Pearls and a Bunch of Flowers stamped and coloured for the inside.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - June 2020 - Embossed Vellum - Orange Bloom

Hello Everyone,
It's the 1st of June and we have a fun new Challenge at CAS Mix Up, I am Host and challenging you to use  Embossed Vellum. We welcome Bonnie as our Guest Designer this month.
We also have some changes happening, a new Design for the Blog and a new Format, some New Design Team Members, and Loll has decided to combine the CAS Mix Up, Water colouring and  Stencil challenges into one.  Each month will be a different technique style and repeated.  The Christmas Challenge will remain.
After Heat embossing the flower with Orange E/Powder I used a stylus to emboss the image from the reverse side, using waxed paper to help improve the movement of the stylus.  I love how the Vellum puffs up and changes it's colour giving the image a 3D look.  I then backed the flower with an Orange mat and die cut the circle sandwiching it to the front of my card.  I finished off with the Heat Embossed Sentiment and Stamping on the inside of my card.

CAS Mix Up Challenge Reminder - May 2020 - Gesso Resist - Hollyhocks

Good Morning,
This post is the reminder for the CAS Mix Up Challenge this month.  This was my first go with the Gesso and initially I wasn't happy with the effect and discarded it.  Then I decided to try using my Alcohol Sprays, some of which would spray and others that refused too.  I persevered and liked the outcome and made it into this card.  The shine is amazing, the Green Mat was also sprayed as none of my coloured card matched the spray colours.  The flowers were die cut and the centres inlaid back into them three times for some dimension.  The Sentiment was Heat Embossed and Punched out using the Classic Label Punch from Stampin' Up!  Hope you will join us and play along.

CAS Mix Up Challenge - May 2020 - Speckled Gesso Resist - Sunset

Hello,
Welcome to a new CAS Mix Up Challenge, this month we are being challenged to use Gesso Resist by Linda.  I found a You Tube Video by Kim Schofield that uses a Credit Card to get this amazing effect with Gesso.  Once my Gesso was dry I Ink Smooshed with Distress Inks, cut my Die Cut and did some Ink Sponging around the edges.  To complete my card I randomly stamped a word stamp, stamped the main image and finished off with the Sentiment and decorated the inside of my card.
