Just Add Ink #40 - Delicate Blossom

Hi Friends,
Today I have created a card for this weeks colour challenge at Just Add Ink.  After much surfing on the net and checking out lots of blogs trying to catch up on everyone's posts while I was away in Tasmania, I found Browyn Eastleys tutorial on a Scallop Circle Easel Card.  I thought I would give it a go and this is the card I came up with.  It reminds me of the Fairy Wrens, that just poped out from anywhere when you stopped the car to have a look around and the beautiful blossom we saw in Tasmania. I just loved watching them flitting about.  At home we only occassionaly see the Blue Wrens a couple of times a year so it was a real treat.
Supplies:
Stamps: Cheep Talk, Oval All
Card: Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Pear Pizzazz
Embellishments: Pearls, Blushing Bride Ribbon
Tools: Big Shot, Scallop Circle Die, Circle Scissor Plus, Small and Large Oval Punches, Scallop Oval Punch, Trio Flower Punch (R), Scallop Circle Punch, Sponges, Embossing Tool and Computer Mouse Mat, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool
Hope you are all enjoying your day. Let me know if you like it.

2010 Stampin' Up! Regionals Perth - Make and Takes

Hi there,
Today's post features the Make and Takes we made at the Demonstrator's Stampin Up Regionals in September.  For Regionals all the Western Australian demonstrators have a get together for training purposes and included in the subscription is a new stamp set from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue and enough product to make four items. I was not a big fan of the stamp set we received "Every Moment" until I used it on the Make and Takes and now I love it. It is amazing how much the images come to life with a bit of water colouring, some spritzing, fabulous colour combinations, ribbon and pearls.
The first project is a little gift card. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the grass when I came home. I did not like how it turned out using the Scallop edge punch and changed the sentiment. We used the little butterfly on the back of the envelope.
The next item is a card.  We used a post it note mask on the flowers as we stamped them accross the card.  The flowers were coloured with markers and an aqua painter, then we used the Colour Spritzer to add more interest, ripped the top of the water colour paper, added a clip, ribbon and a pearl to the centre of one flower.

Next we have a 6 x 6 Scrapbook page.
Lastly we made a box using two Fancy Favour die cuts. The image was watercoloured and spritzed using the Soft Suede Marker. The tag is made from a 1 3/4" punched circle and trimmed back.
Supplies:
Stamps: Every Moment, Vintage Labels (R)
Card: Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Watercolour paper
Ink: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Black Stazon
Embellishments: Ribbon, Pearl, Clip, Linen Thread
Tools: Colour Spritzer, 1 3/4" Circle, Big Shot, Fancy Favour Box Die, Beautiful Butterfly Die, Scallop Edge Punch, Martha Stewart Grass Punch, Dimensionals, Aqua Painter, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Sponges, Stamp-a-ma-jig
For the day we make and exchange swaps, meet new friends and catch up with old friends. It is always a fabulous and inspiring day. So if your in Australia and want to join a wonderful group of ladies who love what they do and love to exchange ideas contact me by email at sjoyce3954@bigpond.com.

Punch Art by Pat Carr

Hello Friends,
In today's post I would like to feature a couple of cards my dear friend Pat Carr created.  The first one was for Andrea Buckland's weekend at Baldivis and Pat then used it at Stampin' Up's Perth Regionals as a swap.  It is a really cute punch art dog.
The second card Pat demonstrated at Stampin' Up's Perth Regionals, a mother Koala Bear and baby. Everyone one was in total awe of Pat's very special talent.

If you case these cards, please give Pat credit, I am not sure that Pat currently has a blog, so not able to link to it.  If I find one I will do so.
Thanks for stopping by today.

We Welcome Curtis Graham Joyce

Hi Folks,
It's been a while since I last posted, so what have I been up to..... going to Stampin' Up's Regionals in Perth (had hoped to post the Make and Takes, still on my to do list), working and having a fabulous time holidaying in Tasmania. We have been away for nearly three weeks and I hope to post some of my favourite pictures soon from our trip.
Our family has also been very blessed with the arrival of our first Grandson Curtis.  Thank's to our son Mark and Daughter-in-law Karlie.  Curtis is still very new and this is a picture I took today and he is just 2 days old.
I am dying to spend some time in my stamping room and get some creativeness flowing again, so I hope to post soon.
Hugs,
