Merry Monday # 203 - Ombre Christmas Tree

Hello Friends,
Welcome to a new challenge at Merry Monday.  This week Kristie is challenging us to Use Ombre Colours and Glitter on our Christmas cards.  This die from Papertrey Ink was the perfect die to make a layered Christmas tree in different shades of green.  I stuck it all together on a base and decorated it with Shiny Pearls and a Glitter Star.  I embossed the background and added more Glitter by die cutting the Sentiment.  Hope you will join us this week and don't forget to check out the other Design Team Members for some more inspiration.

Pat Carr's Camp Avalon April 2015 - Brick Wall Technique

In April 2015 I attended Pat Carr's Camp Avalon at Toodyay.  The theme for the camp was Techniques, so we came away with a File full of ideas explaining the technique, with a sample swatch and a card using it. It was a lot of fun and I learned a few new techniques too. Pat designed this card.
