Merry Monday Week 4 July 2013 Challenge Anything Goes - Santa's Sleigh

Today's post is for this weeks Merry Monday Anything Goes in July Challenge. I am also adding this card to Christmas Cards all Year Round for July Challenge.  This is my version of the Santa's Sleigh made with the Tope Note Die, another Christmas idea I haven't tried before. I think Lorri Heiling created the original idea and you can find her tutorial here.  Hope you like it.  Also entered into Hazel's CHNC Challenge Extra for July.

Finishing Touches: Real Red Satin Ribbon, 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, 1/8" Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls

Cool Tools: Big Shot, Sizzix Top Note Die, Sizzix Scribbles Swirls Die, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, 1 1/4" Scallop Circle, 3/4" Circle Punch, Sponge, Dble Sided Tape, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen

Curtin Call Inspiration Challenge - July 15 - Feeling Nautical

Happy Monday Everyone,
Today's card is for the new Curtin Call Inspiration Challenge - Feeling Nautical. I stamped the images and then masked them, brayered the background and then spritzed it with my Colour Spritzer Tool and Crumb Cake Marker.  I sponged in the shadows and coloured the images.  To create the foam on the waters edge I applied Crystal Effects and sprinkled Clear and White embossing powder intermittently and heated it with my Heat Tool.  The Heat Tool makes the Crystal Effects bubble and creates the look of the waters edge on the sand.
