Today I am showing you some more of the projects I designed for Stampin' Up's Perth Regionals. These cards are more technique based and show another way you can use the Heat Tool. I used the very bright In Colours for 2012/2014 and Betsy's Blossom Stamp Set.
Emerging Colour Technique
For this technique you stamp your card all over with the colours and images you want to use. In this case I used the smaller flowers from Betsy's Blossoms. Then you use a stamp preferably a larger stamp that has a large area and ink it up with Versamark, stamp it and apply Clear embossing powder, heat set it with your tool. When you have finished doing this step you brayer or sponge ink all over the card. I have used one of the darker colours which helps to blend in the colours that have not been covered with Versamark and the Clear embossing powder. Then you rub off the colour with a tissue where you have embossed and the colours you first stamped emerge through. Then it is just a matter of building your card and adding extra images and embellishments.
