OnLine Card Classes - Clean & Simple One Layer Cards 3 - Faux Metal Technique - Love You

Hi there,
Today's post is my very Clean and Simple version of the Faux Metal Technique from the Classes that I am participating in.  Love how it came together.  Before I stamped the words on the Silver embossed square I inked up the Love You stamp with Stazon Black, which helps the words to shine.

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink With All My Heart, Square Prints
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Versamark, Smokey Slate, Basic Grey, Stazon Black
Cool Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Embossing Buddy, Silver E/Powder, Heat Tool.
Thanks for popping by today.
Hugs,

Online Card Classes - Clean & Simple One Layer Cards 3 - Die Cut Inlay Technique - Happy Birthday

Hello Friends,
Today's post is for the Online Card Class that I won on Kathy Racoosin's blog (Thanks so much Kathy!), just by leaving a comment.  I am so thrilled to be doing the classes and so far I have gained some excellent and very inspiring ideas and it's only Day 2.
For today's card I have tried the Faux Effects Die Cut Inlay Technique and I found it easier than I thought, although I did have some very tiny, teeny pieces to find. The Shimmer Mist ended up very rustic but I think it adds to the overall effect. I am really happy with how my card came together, hope you like it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Simon Says Happy 3 x 4 Clear Set
Card and Papers: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Soft Suede, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe DSP
Ink: Soft Suede, Champagne Glimmer Mist, Frost White Glimmer Mist
Finishing Touches: Silver Sequins
Cool Tools: Big Shot, My Favourite Things Pierced Circle Dies, Simon Says Happy Die, Simon Says Fresh Daisies Die, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Double Sided Tape, Dimensionals, Tombow Multi Purpose Glue
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs,
