Happy Weekend Everyone,
Finally I have had some time to organise the Shoebox Swaps from Pat Carr's Stamp Camp weekend.
Sorry it has taken a while, my Husband and I have been busy Baby sitting Grand children in Perth, moving furniture and bits and pieces while our house is decorated, mainly painting although we have removed three wardrobes and there is still more to come. I am exhausted and totally over cleaning up the mess. My craft room is the latest to be pulled apart, so I hope it won't be too long before I can move everything back. There is one omen from this we are having a thorough clean out and clearing things that haven't been used for ages so that is good. LOL
The first two cards were my swap and I found the tutorial on Lori Heiling's blog.

Very cute Punch Art Bear
A Bear becomes a Dog
The embossing is sponged, love the pretty colours and detail on the inside and the main image was inked up with Calypso Coral, stamped off and then re stamped with the dots from the same stamp set "Flight of the Butterfly".
The ribbon fish and the punched circles really make this card with the addition of the stamped sea grass and then highlighted with the White Gel Pen. The birds were made with a Heart Punch and the waves were made with a circle punch.
This one was a bit tricky making the three little 1" x 1" scenes. There was a lot of masking, brayering and sponging to create it, but I love the end result.
This card was a one layer card except for the punched Itty Bitty flowers. It was stamped with a mask in place and then sponged around the mask and the leaves were a reverse mask and sponged to create them.
The Christmas card was a reverse mask using the Penant Punch and three different greens and a brown for the tree trunks. I think they call the bow a Flat Bow where you punch two holes and thread the ribbon through them twice.
A very pretty Quilt card which we dry embossed once the squares were in place and then added the finishing touches a rosette and scrunched seam binding ribbon with a brad.
Love the Pom Pom centre of this punched flower card, it was made with Crochet cotton.
Cherita Anderson designed these three fantastic male cards.
I adored this project. It was to show we could use canvas to work on with watercolour ink and then embellish it.
