Hello there,
Today's card is for this month's CAS Mix Up Challenge and Nancy is challenging us to do some Emboss Resist.
To start I blended some Tim Holtz Oxide Ink - Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick. I then placed my Stencil over the top and sponged Versamark ink through the stencil. I removed the Stencil and sprinkled Clear embossing Powder over the Versamark and heat set it with my Heat Gun. I followed Channin Pelletier's Video to do the Faux Batik technique, folding and creasing the lines into my piece of card. Then I sponged and blended Shaded Lilac and Broken China over the card to reveal the creased lines. I added some water droplets to give extra dimension. I finished off by White Heat embossing the sentiment and using a die to cut it out.
Thanks for taking a peek today.
Hugs,
