Merry Monday #118 - Button Christmas Tree

Welcome to a new week at Merry Monday and it's time for a new challenge.  Lori is challenging us to use Ribbon and Buttons on our card. This a fantastic challenge to use up some of those buttons stashed away in your cupboards, I know I have far too many.  I used a Clear button for the trunk of the tree and covered it with Washi Tape. I cut out the triangle shape for the tree and then covered it with buttons that I had threaded twine though or added a crystal in the centre. A good project to do with your children or grand kids and relatively easy to do.

Supplies:
Stamps: S/U's Party Punch for Sentiment
Card and Papers: Real Red, Whisper White, Gold Foil, DSP Simply Scrappin' Kit Wish
Ink: Real Red
Finishing Touches: Various Buttons, Crystals, Strawberry Red Bakers Lustre Twine, Key Lime Baker's Lustre Twine, Washi Tape
Cool Tools: 1" Circle Punch, Spellbinders Classic Circle Nestabilities, Dble Sided Tape, Tombow Multi Glue
Don't forget to check out what the other Design Team Members have created for some inspiration and get started on those Christmas cards, less than 24 weeks to Christmas.
Thanks for calling in today.
Hugs,
