Hi there,,
Today's post is for
The Play Date Cafe Challenge this week.  This was an interesting colour challenge and first thoughts where to make a male card, especially after taking into consideration the featured picture but I decided to try for a more feminine card.  For the flowers I used Riding Hood Red and Basic Grey ink.  The Basic Grey really makes the red pop. I sponged and distressed the edges of the main image with the Cutter Tool and stamped off the background elements a couple of times and then used my Colour Spritzer Tool to add the splatter of colour.  I like how it came together.
This card was awarded the Cream in Our Coffee Award at the Play Date Cafe this week.
