Back Pack Box

This is one of the 3D items I have made recently, a Back Pack Box.  It was featured on Splitcoast Stampers as a Technique Lovers Challenge No. TLC232.  They are very cute and easy to create once you print the template direct onto your cardstock.  I have kept it plain and simple only using the So Swirly Jumbo Wheel by Stampin' UP! to decorate the outside.

Key Supplies:
Stamps:  So Swirly Jumbo Wheel
Card: Old Olive, Sahara Sand
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Brad, Hat Elastic, Ribbon, Eyelets, Velcro Dots

Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #12

Hello Ladies,
This is my creation for Makeesha's Inspiration Challenge this week.  I decided not to use Circle Circus which matches the Inspiration photo beautifully.   I went with the owl designer paper from Good Morning Sunshine as the large owl eyes and patterns on their bodies have similar similarities to the photo.  I don't own the Stampin Up set "Owl Together Now" so I used the only owl stamp I own from Inkadinkado to complete the card.
Key Ingredients:
Stamps: Inkadinkado Owl
Card: Pacific Point, Yoyo Yellow, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DP
Ink: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Crystals, Sponge Pacific Point Striped Ribbon, Friskars Apron Punch, Dimensionals, Pinking Shear Scissors
Hope you like it,

New Grand Daughter's Baby Card

I made this card for our new Grand-daughter Jessica Jorja.  I stamped the image and coloured it in with my SU markers and aqua painter.  I used my nesties to cut and emboss the circle and the Labels Three mat.  I  embossed the card base with the Swiss dots folder and punched the edge with the Martha Stewart Doiley punch.  I embossed at the fold on either side of the ribbon with my Paper Trimmer, and added the ribbon and made a bow with my Bow Easy and used half a large glue dot to attach it.  I placed the main image and added the pearls.  I created the sentiment, punched it out with the Word Window punch and matted it on a Large Oval , which I pierced and added the pearls. I love this Penny Black image and that the card is so soft and pretty. Hope you like it.

Stamps: Penny Black 2073J Baby Hammock
Card: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink
Ink: Stazon Black, Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose, Old Olive, Brocade Blue, Basic Gray, So Saffron, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel Markers

Happy Father's Day

Hello,

It's the first Sunday in September and that means it's Father's Day here in Australia today.  I made this card for my Husband.  He loved his card although he isn't sure about the buttons.  If only he knew how much bother I went to to put them there.  I was going to glue them in place but because I had put thread in the button holes and tied them off on the back they wouldn't sit flat, so I ended up pulling the card apart and redoing it and sewing the buttons to the ribbon. Besides buttons are popular at the moment aren't they!!!! Anyway after I played with it this is the finished result. Hope you like it.

Stamps: Penny Black Bubbly Clear Stamps set, More Great Greetings (R)
Card: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Old Olive, Old Olive & Close to Cocoa Print Pattern DP (R)
Ink: Stazon Black, Old Olive, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip Markers
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Circle & Pinking Circle Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Mat Pack & Piercing Tool, Dimensionals, Buttons & Thread, Double Stitched Gross Ribbon

Best Wishes for a perfect day,

Upsy Daisy

When I made the last card for the Demo Swap I tried a different colour way, as we all do sometimes so that is how this card came about.  I stepped it up a bit for this card only using two sections of the image, using the Swiss Dots EB Folder on the base card and the EK Success Dotted Wave Punch. I didn't add a sentiment because I am not sure what I am using it for yet.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Card: Lovely Lilac, Almost Amethyst, Whisper White, Clover Love In Bloom Scrapbook Kit DP
Ink: Lovely Lilac, Almost Amethyst
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Swiss Dots EB Folder, EK Success Dotted Wave Border Punch, Crystals, Fine Ribbon, Dimensionals, 3/16" Corner Rounder

Hope you like it.

Stamperoo's Demo Swap for August

I made this card for the August Stamperoo's Demo Swap.  The theme was to use punches.  I used the 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch, which I have just discovered is not in the current catalogue and the retired Spring Flower Bouquet Punch. Oopps!! Never mind most people would have a Corner Rounder of some description.
I inked the Upsy Daisy stamp with Pretty In Pink and then brushed the Rose Red over the top and stamped the image.  I cut the image into three even pieces and used the Corner Rounder Punch on every corner.  I tied the white grossgrain ribbon onto the card and then mounted the images on dimensionals.  I punched the flower and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment on the small strip of card.  I then punched a 1/4" circle (R) for the centre of the flower and dabbed it with the 2 way glue pen and added the glitter.  Although it is a very basic card it was quick and easy and suitable for a Make & Take at a workshop.
Stamps: Upsy Daisy, On Your Birthday
Card: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink, Rose Red
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Rose Red
Accessories: 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch, Spring Flower Bouquet Punch (R), 1/4" Circle Punch (R), Stamp-a-ma-jig, Dimensionals, Glitter, 2 Way Glue Pen, Ribbon

SC243 - Framed Daisy

I stamped the main image twice, once with Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss and then cut out the pieces I wanted to highlight.  I raised the border and flower on dimensionals so the image resembled a frame and the flower head to give the card a 3D appearance.  Punched the borders, attached the mats, crystals and ribbon and it was done.
Stamps: Artee Bordered Flower 1
Card: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Good Morning Sunshine DP
Ink: Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: EK Success Border Punch, Crystals, Fine Glitter, Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals

Gift's for A Friend

I have had a play with my leave a comment section on my blog, and hopefully now it will be easier for everyone to leave some comment love. If you still can't leave a comment please email me at sjoy3954@bigpond.net.au and let me know which area won't work for you. Thanks!!
I made these three items for my AUS/NZ Internation Secret Sister. I hope she has received them already. I cased the ideas for the card and the corner bookmark from Louise Ryan, Charmaine Black and Makeesha Byl's Breast Cancer fund raiser. Thanks to those ladies and Ngaire for the sweet holder. Ngaire made the sweet holder for her Incentive Trip swap and showed us at our last Stamperoo's Demo meeting.  Hope you like them.

Inkspiration Sketch Challenge #12 - By God's Grace

Hi there,
For my card for this week I decided to keep the design simple like the sketch. I was going to use my piercing tool around the edge and on the scalloped strip, but felt it would distract from the elegant look I was going for. Hope you like it.

Card: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Patterns Pack II DSP
Ink: Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: White Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Pearls, Dimensionals, Cuttlebug, Oval Nestabilities, Scallop Edge Punch, 1/2 Large Glue Dot
