Monthly Calendar Challenge - April 2010

Hi there,
Today's post is for my Monthly Calendar Challenge for April.
The theme for April is Easter.
I totally enjoyed creating these calendar's and I love the finished projects.  The first one is themed on the spiritual significance of Easter. I wanted to create a soft and elegant design.
Supplies:
Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Embrace Life
Card and Paper: Whisper White, Metallic White and Gold, Bella Blue DP
Ink: Old Olive, Summer Sun, Creamy Caramel
Embellishments: Pearls, Satin Ivory Ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Labels Four, Labels One, Corner Round Punch, Computer and Printer for Sentiment and Calendar, Dimensionals, Bow Easy, Glue Dot
The second one was a lot of fun to design with plenty of bright colours and embellishments.

Card: Lovely Lilac, Whisper White, Gable Green, Green Galore, Bashful Blue, Pretty In Pink, Black, Apricot Appeal, Patterns II (Hostess Reward 2009-2010 Stampin' Up's Idea Book and Catalogue and Stampin' Up's 2008 - 2009 Spring Mini Catalogue)
Ink: Lovely Lilac, Green Galore, Apricot Appeal, Lavender Lace, Gable Green, Versamark, Pretty In Pink,
Emblishments: Mini Primas, Pearls, Brads, Assorted Scraps of Ribbon
Tools: Cuttlebug, Classic Oval and Scalloped Nestabilities, Computer and Printer, Provo Craft Jamara EB Folder, Swiss Dots EB Folder, Scallop Edge Punch, Large and Small Oval Punches, 1/2" Circle Punch, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch (R), 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Fine Black Marker, White Gel Pen, Gelly Roll Pen, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Mat Pack and Piercing Tool, Martha Stewart Fence Punch, 2 Way Glue Pen, Bow Easy
I have decided to try a different Link system, it actually shows a picture of your calendar, and works much the same as Mr. Linky.
Thanks for taking a peek, let me know if you like them.  If you like the calendars and would like to have a go, I would love for you to join in my monthly challenge. You can find the details here.
Hugs,
Cat's Ink Siggy

  1. I absolutely LOVE them both but my favourite would have to be the first one. I think I might do an Easter card for my kids using the second one as inspiration - they would love it. So cute...
