Hi Crafty Stampers,
My card today is a reminder for the Mixed Media CAS Mix Up Challenge "Faux Cloisonné" which ends on the 24th February.
I used the Spotlight magazine again and you can see the pictures I used below to create my Frangipani Spray. I did stamp and cut a few extra flowers which were mounted on Foam Tape to give the flowers some extra dimension. The heat embossed paper was backed with some white card before fussy cutting and the edges of the cut pieces where coloured with a Gold pen from Stampin' Up. I added the Sentiment and Heat embossed it with Gold E/Powder, splattered some Gold Delicata Ink and attached the Gold Sequins to finish off my card. The inside of my card was decorated too.
Flowers - I used the 3 Glasses
Leaves - Doona Cover
Wonderful to see you here and I love to read your comments.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteOooh, those yellow cloisonned flowers simply jump off the page beautifully. Using black for your cardbase was a great idea, as are the splatter and sequin placement. The slimline format is perfect for it.
